I grew up in Lively 1952 till 70's, but spent a great deal of time in Creighton. We would walk, bike or hitchhike on a regular basis; after all we didn't have a restaurant, pool hall or a club. It seemed that Creighton had everything, and I couldn't guess how many hours I spent sitting in the restaurant or in Johnny's pool hall. It was a lot more fun than going to school!!
I can clearly remember the church and the day my sister (Peggy) and Peter Seguin were married.
Stopped in a few years ago and spoke to Cecelia and Jack, my old neighbors and enjoyed our visit. Byng Uttley was a hero of sorts back then, I used to hang around with his cousin Wayne. Bing was one of the only people from Creighton or Lively who dared to travel past Sudbury or the end of the universe...Toronto, for teenagers it was hard to imagine he made it all the way to the Yukon. Hello to Ann and Doug Mitchell, it has been a number of years since we last spoke to each other.
